Plantar Fasciitis Sprinting I Have Foot Pain From Running In A 5k Race. Has Anyone Had The Same Symptoms And If So What Is The Treatment?

I have foot pain from running in a 5k race. Has anyone had the same symptoms and if so what is the treatment? - plantar fasciitis sprinting

I've been running consistently for a year) (without pain. I am 25 years old (190 lbs). Three weeks ago I met a 5K race. In the 5K, I ran normal until the end of the race. Finally, I ran as fast as I could ¼ mile. After the race I felt good, no pain. At home I take off my shoes, it takes 10 steps and began to feel pain in his right foot only (in the back and not on the ball) at each step. I thought I'd pulled a muscle and not much. After two weeks, limping and take a whole bottle of ibuprofen, I began to feel better and could be without a limp, and the pain is difficult to see on foot. After two weeks, which also played a little tennis without pain. Today (3 weeks later), I decided to run (2 miles). In the midst ofRun (1 mile) I felt the pain again. My foot is very sensitive again. Do I need new shoes? Is this a plantar fasciitis. What about flat feet? Should I see a doctor? Will it ever gone? Please help.

  1. If your pain is still there so first of all get a professional diagnosis before you spend more money and effort.

  2. You need to go get the next podiatrist for an evaluation and x-rays, that nothing is broken, sure. This could be a fatigue fracture may or tendonitis. Judging by where it's like the back-foot (perhaps near the ankle) is probable tendinitis. You need to find rest, ice and Advil. Shoes helps a little, but you walk a podiatrist for an evaluation. You may need braces to help its implementation, so that the area will not be stressed or abused. He or she will go and look to see how the function of the type of orthotics and other treatments are necessary, amended. After determining the cause of the pain, then yes, then go. Plantar fasciitis is at the bottom of his foot near the heel or Arch
