How can I connect my laptop with VGA to my LCD TV that has HDMI, S-Video, RCA, and Component videi inputs? - vga to rca
I have an old laptop that I connect to my HDTV Emerson. The laptop only has a VGA port. The TV has no HDMI VGA, RCA, component and S-video. What is my best option for the cards? I see you VGA to RCA adapter, which seems to be easier. Is there an adapter that may work better?

The cable that the response of others is related not been sent. The cable will only work with VGA outputs that are specifically designed for video output component. Many people, only to discover they do not work. See the fine print on this link for details:

To convert a VGA, component video or HDMI, you need a converter. You can not use a single cable in most cases.
